Bakarthach → Beas Kund (3,700 m) → Lady Leg (4,000 m) Base Camp

Today's trek takes you to the sacred Beas Kund, the origin of the River Beas, and then continues to Lady Leg, which serves as the base camp for Friendship Peak. This stretch offers stunning views of surrounding peaks.

Lady Leg Base Camp - Acclimatization & Summit Preparation

A dedicated rest and acclimatization day at Lady Leg Base Camp. Our experienced guides will conduct technical training sessions, covering basic mountaineering techniques such as using ropes, ice axes, and crampons (if snow conditions require).

The most challenging yet rewarding day of the trek. Start early in the morning for the summit push to Friendship Peak. The ascent involves navigating snow slopes and rocky sections. After celebrating your achievement, descend carefully back to Lady Leg Base Camp.

Lady Leg Base Camp → Solang Valley → Manali

After a celebratory breakfast at base camp, begin your descent from Lady Leg to Solang Valley. From Solang, a vehicle will pick you up for the short drive back to Manali, marking the triumphant conclusion of your Friendship Peak adventure.

What are the emergency protocols in place?

Our trek leaders are highly experienced in handling high-altitude emergencies. We carry comprehensive first aid kits, oxygen cylinders, and have communication devices (satellite phones in remote areas) for prompt assistance.

Will there be mobile network connectivity during the trek?

Mobile network connectivity is generally available only in Manali and Solang Valley. Beyond Solang, expect no mobile network for the majority of the trek. Our team will carry satellite phones for emergency communication.

Is technical gear provided or do I need to bring my own?

All necessary technical climbing gear, such as ropes, ice axes, and crampons (if required by snow conditions), will be provided by us. You should bring your personal trekking gear as listed in the essentials section.

What about porters/mules for luggage?

Porters or mules are arranged to carry all common gear, kitchen equipment, and your main luggage. You will only need to carry a small daypack with your essentials for daily trekking.
